It has been twenty years since Arsenal last won the Premier League title, but the possibility of them reclaiming the trophy is now within reach. Arsenal currently sits atop the table with 86 points, just one point ahead of Manchester City, who have upcoming matches against Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
As anticipation for victory grows, preparations are underway for a potential celebration. Islington Council has unveiled the proposed parade route, set to kick off at 5pm the day after the final game at Emirates Stadium and culminating at Upper Street. The team would then retrace their steps back to the stadium, reaching The Armoury store on Hornsey Road for a podium appearance before winding down around 8pm.
Strict regulations will be in place for the parade day, with road closures starting at 4pm and parking restrictions enforced. Bike hangars along the route must be cleared by 10am, and limited access to nearby Tube stations is expected due to the event. Crowd control measures, including barriers, will be implemented along the procession route to manage the anticipated influx of fans.
All arrangements are subject to Arsenal securing victory in their upcoming match against Everton. Even with a win, the title race could be decided by goal difference if Manchester City secure a win and a draw.
