Man Charged in Milicent Grove Murder in Enfield Set to Appear in Court

Aleks Tsachev, aged 21 and with no fixed address, made an appearance at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 9. Emergency services responded to a stabbing incident at an address on Millicent Grove in Palmers Green on Tuesday, May 7, around 12:30 am. Sadly, a 66-year-old man suffered fatal knife wounds and passed away at the scene.

Specialist officers are providing support to the deceased man’s next of kin, who have been informed of the tragic incident. Additionally, a 16-year-old boy was also found with stab injuries but is expected to recover fully. The victim’s identity is being withheld until all family members have been notified.

The police have clarified that the two men were familiar with each other, and no other individuals are being sought in connection with the case, according to Scotland Yard. Tsachev has been remanded for further proceedings at the Old Bailey on Monday, May 13.
