On May 9th, just before 12:15 am, an incident occurred at the junction of Merrick Road and Healum Avenue. Police officers responded to the scene where they discovered a woman in her twenties with serious injuries. The vehicle involved had fled the scene, and the woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

The woman was described as wearing light-colored bottoms, a light-colored top, and sandals. Anyone with information or relevant footage is encouraged to contact the police.
The investigation is ongoing, and witnesses or anyone with information are urged to call 101 quoting CAD 82/09MAY.
