Police responded to a call at a residence on Millicent Grove early this morning (May 7) regarding a reported stabbing incident. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in his late 50s who tragically passed away shortly after. The Metropolitan Police has notified the man’s next of kin, and a post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted in the near future.

Additionally, a 16-year-old boy was also found with stab injuries, though his condition is reported as not serious. Subsequently, a 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and causing grievous bodily harm and is currently in custody at a police station in north London.

Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee, leading the investigation, expressed understanding for the community’s shock and extended gratitude for their cooperation during the investigation process. She reassured residents that those involved in the incident were acquainted with each other.

Notably, a crime scene remains cordoned off as the murder investigation continues. Residents are encouraged to reach out to authorities if they possess any information that could aid in the case, either by speaking directly to officers on site or contacting their local policing team or calling 101.
