Spurs are set to face Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium today (April 28) at 2pm. Law enforcement authorities have announced their intention to utilize live facial recognition technology “near White Hart Lane.” This technology will be employed to identify individuals with outstanding arrest warrants, wanted for offenses, or those under police supervision for license conditions. Police will also monitor individuals prohibited from attending the match by court order. Each deployment will involve a customized watchlist. If no matches are found on the watchlist, the biometric data will be promptly deleted and cannot be accessed by law enforcement.
