Police responded to a call at Edmonton Shopping Centre around 2:30 pm on March 2 regarding a man reportedly seen carrying a knife. Upon searching the area, officers discovered that the individuals involved had already left before their arrival. Further investigation through CCTV footage revealed that the man had been stabbed during a confrontation with another individual who had a machete.

While still on the scene, the police received another report of a man with stab wounds on Hertford Road, who was identified as the same individual from the shopping centre incident. The injured man was transported to a hospital, where his condition was determined to be non-life-threatening. Authorities have released an image of a person of interest in connection with the case and are seeking information from the public.
